An American serviceman from a unit stationed somewhere at a base in Scotland
went astray when returning to his barracks.
Wandering aimlessly on a lonely road he at last met with another human - a Highlander.
"Gosh, pal!" exclaimed the American. "I'm lost."
"Is there a reward out for ye?" inquired the Scot.
"Why, no."
"Well," remarked the Scotsman, walking on, "ye're still lost."
