The Last word
A veteran sergeant was lecturing his squad of rookie GI's and he finished his
impromptu orientation talk by saying, "Remember men, no matter how dirty
or distasteful the job you're ordered to do is, how much of a bawling out you
get, as American citizens you always have the right to have the last word."
He paused for a moment to let this unbelievable morsel of information sink in.
Then he added, "That last word is ‘Yes Sir!'"
