Real Story

I was stationed at N.A.S. Miramar in San Diego, CA in 1983 as a AD-2 Aviation Jet Mechanic ) when this message appeared on the Navy's Bulletin Board requesting AD's to convert to GSM's or GSE's.( Gas Turbine Mechanical or Electric )

I figured this was a good choice for me & my family, so I went to N.T.C. Great Lakes for the change of rates.

While there I was going to GSM " C " school, the local train started heading up to Wisconsin on it's nightly runs & this caused the Instructor to pause while the train passed by the school.

After it passed he said , " I seem to have lost my train of thought." To which I responded, " Well if you hurry I bet you can catch it before it gets to Wisconsin," & the whole class Burst out Laughing, along with the Instructor & I.
