When I was visiting a friend at Fort Campbell years ago, there was a marine guard detail at the main gate. This struck me as kind of strange, as Fort Campbell is an Army base. So I asked him. "Hey, why do they have Marines guarding an Army base. You're not afraid those Army guys will carry it away, are you?" He looked a little confused and said "No Sir. Most of them are pretty nice guys."
