Military personnel used the hotel for a stopover and the management had problems
with persons leaving with bills unpaid.
The clerk assigned an airman a room on the tenth floor. "Any baggage?"
he asked.
"Only my parachute," the man replied.
After giving the airman a quizzical look, the clerk said: "Change that
for Room 205 on the second floor."
